You will get an insight into the possibilities of Carbon4 in the initial meeting, and this meeting is always “a matter for the boss”. We ask you lots of questions that are important for your personal project and about the services you require. The more information we receive from you, the more accurately we can calculate a customized quote. This information is relevant, for example:
- Type of heating application: full heating, additional heating, problem solution (moisture or mold remediation), special application
- Floor plan and age of the property
- Energy certificate if available
- Height of the rooms and structure of the walls and ceiling

The next step is an individually tailored offer, clearly listed. A high level of transparency is particularly important here. Panel heating is “new territory” for many customers, which is why you will of course receive a concrete overview of all the products and components used in detail. The structure of the walls and ceilings is very important with this type of heating, as care must be taken not to lose too much heat into the masonry or to the outside. In old buildings and renovations, it is essential to insulate the outside wall on the inside. We would be happy to make you an offer for this with our specially developed thermo-reflective panels. Now you can make the right decision. We will of course be happy to answer any open questions about the specific offer very flexibly on the phone, in a video call and, of course, at your premises, because you are now making a very long-term decision.
Together with a specialist electrical company and you, we create an electrical plan and draw it in special 3D programs for illustration purposes. This includes:
- Positioning of the transformers: distribution cabinet in a technical room outside the premises (in new buildings), or flush-mounted in the respective room, or surface-mounted in the respective room (depending on the circumstances)
- Preparation of the 24 V side: drawing of the empty electrical pipework and electrical junction boxes or special intelligent Carbon4 junction boxes (complete monitoring and reading of the individual heating tracks on the secondary side)
- Definition of the cable cross-sections to the electrical junction boxes. The cables are also pulled into the corresponding empty conduit in advance
- Definition of the VDE-compliant distribution cabinet (size depending on the number of transformers)
- Preparation of the 230 volt side: 16 C automatic machine per transformer
Once the preparatory work has been completed (preliminary trades), the Carbon4 panel heating system is installed by certified specialist companies. This is not a do-it-yourself product, but may only be carried out by certified partner companies of Carbon 4 Heizsysteme GmbH. The system must be connected and commissioned by a specialist electrical company on the 230 volt side. At this stage, our specialists work hand in hand with the specialist electrical company and the installation of the heating system is carried out without noise, dirt and very quickly. Once all the preparatory work has been completed, a detached house, for example, can be equipped with Carbon4 wall/floor/ceiling panel heating or a combination of the two in just a few days. The heating is put into operation immediately by the specialist electrical contractor on the 230 volt side and you will feel the cozy warmth in the rooms in no time at all.
Support for painters/tilers/floor layers
- Transmission of the materials approved by us for the subsequent work (special adhesives, fillers, etc.) in cooperation with and with the approval of the PCI Group (PCI, Thomsit) and many other manufacturers of adhesives and fillers. ATTENTION: Only adhesives or primers approved by us may be used.
- Instructions for reworking the heating coat: Support for the relevant specialist companies (painters, tilers, floor layers, finish coaters) for reworking the heating coat (fillers, reinforcements, etc.).
