The heating coat is particularly suitable for old buildings and can also be applied in stages. If there is moisture in the masonry, Carbon4 can kill two birds with one stone: permanent drying of the walls and full heating.
With this type of wall surface heating in existing buildings, it is essential to insulate the inside of the outer walls or, in the case of ceiling installation, also the ceilings or to thermally decouple the heating from the wall.
Without appropriate measures, the heat is lost too deeply into the masonry or to the outside due to the high thermal conductivity of the solid materials. This in turn results in high consumption and long running times – which we obviously do not want and know how to prevent.

For this reason, we have developed a special thermal reflection panel over the last few years that not only insulates, but also reflects the infrared radiation back into the room through the reflective layer.
It is also open to diffusion and allows moisture to pass through without any problems, which enables heating and simultaneous drying out of the masonry behind it.
With appropriate internal insulation, it is also not a must to insulate the house from the outside.
